This video was really interesting—I couldn’t stop laughing! If you like Abraham, you should definitely watch it. Of course, it's from one of Abraham’s workshops, and the person chosen to ask a question was an American man who seems to hold a fairly high position at a major U.S. corporation. The topic was about how he’s grown tired of choosing stability by staying in his current job, but he isn’t feeling any excitement about what’s next.
When things aren’t bad, many people wonder, “Why can’t I be satisfied?” They might think, “Isn’t this enough?” or “Why can’t I feel completely content?”
But the human heart naturally seeks change. Even in a stable environment, the desire for new challenges and growth is only natural.
True satisfaction is what actually leads us to new experiences effortlessly. That’s because what we seek already exists within the vortex.
The message was about how true satisfaction comes from riding the flow that feels guided and enjoying the changes that come with it. While being content in the present is important, trying to stay in the same place can actually stop the flow.
This might be a bit abstract, but it reminded me of something Esther once mentioned in an interview. A craftsman who has been doing the same work for years might seem unchanged from the outside, but internally, they are constantly expanding.
In other words, expansion isn’t always about visible, physical changes. With this perspective, even those who feel unable to move due to circumstances—or those who simply don’t feel like moving right now—can recognize that something within them is still expanding.
Riding the flow isn’t just about external movement; it’s also about embracing the inner sense of expansion.
I love Esther!
